Risks and Mitigation Strategies

The main risks identified include "inaccuracy," with 44% of respondents experiencing negative impacts (see Figure 5). Cybersecurity and lack of explainability are also concerns, with many companies lacking governance frameworks and expertise for risk management.

Many companies have yet to establish adequate governance frameworks or acquire the specialized expertise needed for effective risk management. Only 18% of companies have set up company-wide AI governance committees, highlighting the organizational challenges that remain.
