Originally from Osaka, Japan, he studied reinforcement learning and edge device optimization at Ritsumeikan University, with a focus on neural network compression and accelerating edge AI. His research has been featured at international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals. He was also recognized with the Outstanding Researcher Award for his thesis. Currently serving as Chief AI Engineer at Matsuo Laboratory Inc., he contributes to the practical implementation of AI technologies through collaborative research with various companies.
Akiharu Esashi
Originally from Miyagi, Japan, he graduated with honors from Arkansas Tech University in the United States with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the same field at the University of North Texas, where he focuses on developing algorithms for utilizing external tools with large language models and conducting research on high-performance cloud computing (HPCC). He was awarded the Best Undergraduate Research Award at the NSF-sponsored Arkansas Summer Research Institution. He has experience as a freelance full-stack engineer and has contributed to collaborative research projects with multiple companies as an AI engineer at Matsuo Laboratory Inc.
